Amount of Lstg. 1265.0.0. was debited in our Current Account with Messrs., Chargeurs réunis, Paris, as at 31/12/44. The amounts telegraphed at the time were estimated, as the exact sums disbursed could not be given, the reason being that the several amounts collected from or paid by the Mission des transports maritimes, London, are shown in our Current Account with the Chargeurs réunis, Paris, who accepted our statement.
We regret we are unable to furnish more details, but these, we feel sure could be obtained from the Chargeurs réunis, should the Mission des transports maritimes, require further details.
