Dear Sir,
I beg to confirm my letter of December 4th last.
In order to allow to my wife and myself to travel to the USA, the American legation asks for a certificate showing my balance account with you.
I should be very much obliged if you would send me the above certificate in due legal form, which should be forwarded to me through the American Legation, Teheran, Iran and at the same time send me a cable stating my balance account, at my above address (Barberot Pension Ecbatan, Teheran.)
I have already written to some of my friends an America on the same subject and they may write to you asking for detailed information and maybe they should equally want a certificate stating my balance account. They are M. Robert H. Elder, Attorney at law, Woolworth Building 233, Broadway, New York and Mr. Victor Kendler, c/o Trans American Development Co, 60, East 42nd Street, New York City.
I should appreciate your giving them all information they may ask for as well as any certificate they may need.
Kindly inform me by mail as well as by cable the soonest possible, I take it naturally for understood that I shall settle all expenses you may incur in this respect.
