Dear Sirs,
We beg to inform you that Mr William Torry, who has been connected with our Firm for almost half of century, has asked us, owing to ill health, to relieve him of part of his duties.
We have accordingly appointed Mr Robert Chambers manager of our Newcastle branch as from the 1st January 1933.
Mr William Torry will remain in an advisory capacity.
