Dear Sirs,
We beg to inform you that owing to the death of Mr L. G. Jeffreys and the winding up of the firm of L. G. Jeffreys & Co. who for a considerable number of years have acted as ours agents for both our coal exporting business and our regular steamship lines, we have decided to open a branch office of our firm at Swansea.
We have appointed as manager of that office Mr C. Guy Godfrey Taylor who has been assistant to the late Mr L. G. Jeffreys since 1897.
