I appreciate greatly the kind terms in which you have announced my formal letter notifying the dissolution the Shipping Executive.
I venture to think that our collaboration was not only friendly but successful up to the point which circumstances allowed. I shall always retain the most grateful recollections of our joint work and of my French colleagues, and among them, M. Meynial and M. Labbé.
Your own knowledge and wide experience, and the excellence of our personal relations, made my official task as chairman for [...] that it would have otherwise been.
