Dear Sirs,
Benzine for Greece.
We beg to acknowledge receipt of your favour N°541 of the 11th inst.
We will write to Messrs P. A. Mango & Co. that you are not in a position so far to appoint any agents for Greece, but that yon are willing to make sales to them on an outright purchase basis, fob Egyptian ports.
We will further question them as to the retail price and the profit usually enjoyed by the middleman in the sale of Motor Spirit, and will let you know in due course, we are inclined to think though that Messrs Mango's previous advices on the subject were quite reliable, except in so far perhaps as their knowledge of this particular trade was not very extensive; in this view, we shall try to get more price details from them.
We will also communicate with Messrs Manuel, and will try to get them to negotiate some business.
