Dear Sir,
Further to your letter of June 29th and my letter of July 5th. Your enquiry as to why Mr. H. Worms has not appointed a Director of the Mitchell Main Colliery Co. was considered by the Directors and the following minute passed:
"A letter from Mr. C. A. K. Hall with reference to the appointment of Mr. H. Worms was considered and the Secretary was requested to inform Mr. Hall that at the time the vacancy caused by the death of Mr. Lucien Worms occurred, Mr. H. Worms was not qualified for appointment as a Director and the Board considered it desirable in the interests of the shareholders generally to appoint Mr. J. E. Mitchell as a director which appointment was confirmed by the shareholders at the ensuing General Meeting."
